with all the respect for the work of sindre his choice of name was poor. Sure, a little  joke on (e)scape-goat but seriously the name does not tell me that it's to escape a string in HTML

The name alone makes this package worth it.

Funny that escape-goat escapes less chars.
I wonder if mustache overdoes it or escape-goat has a defect

Mustache overdo it. Escaping backtick was only necessary for IE8 and older. Escaping `/` and `=` is not needed.
