I've noticed a lot of people moving back to npm from yarn recently. Is something triggering this?

Mine is easy, I use npm-check. And after I updating my packages, yarn seems not happy... because apparently, no updates to that yarn.lock. So no choice... If yarn has more compatibility to npm, then maybe yes.
