I'm somewhat surprised there is no mention of Lit-Element or Lit-Html that I could find. Also be interested to know why you didn't just use Lit-Element?

Nice, I always struggled with the decision to or not to integrate angular/react for a tiny feature on a page. Usually ended up with VanillaJS. I like this.
