Couldn't agree more. Its easy to get overwhelmed with the sheer volume of new front end tech hitting every day. Use others to you trust to help filter the chuff to stuff you may actually care about. It's really helped me. I use various "filters" (blogs, mailing lists, friends i trust, etc) to help me find the stuff that may REALLY interest me interesting me while skipping a lot of the "blip on the radar" stuff off my screen.
